Flower pot pocket card

Well yes i know....It is Mojo monday but however today i worked on something different. I went snooping around splitcoast stampers today and saw a cute little card i just wanted to make. So perhaps tomorrow i will start on my Mojo! I think this card is cute but after making one i now know the little details that i would like to change.

So i started with a plain piece of brown card stock, then used my fiskar border punch to add the scallop, used K&Company specialty paper for the bottom portion of the pot and as well on the insert. I stamped with some Micheals 1.50 specials...didn't turn out that great as i wish the "Wishes for you" was darker but however those are just some of the Kinks. I used my cricut to cut the flowers and leaves. Some Making memories ribbon to spruce up the pot and some brads to make the flowers complete.

Well I was able to get two more cards done yesterday. I really like all of this paper that my mom has given me that it really sparked something for me. So i thought i would post both of them today rather then waiting to post the other one tomorrow. 

This last card is inpired by Mojo 166 one of the sketches from November 2010.

Sitting around

Well i was sitting around watching a few shows i like last night and I was able to put together another card with that  fabulous paper i was given. I have a couple more planed out so hopefully i will get another done today. If i could do a card a day (wishful thinking) I would be just so happy. Anyhow here is what i came up with last night.

Inspired by Mojo 195

Just a quick post this afternoon. Got some more great paper from my Mom so i couldn't resist whipping up a card. This paper is from a Momenta paper pack from Walmart, flowers are K&Company.

Well again i had to do my own font piece i used Martha Stewarts glitter glue....it's not perfect but however it is good enough (It was my 7th try so i gave up sorta speak)

Something simple

Well Happy Friday everyone!

Well here is a simple baby card i made the other day...not that i know anyone who is having a baby. I have to be honest i don't make my cards for any reason other then i just love to do it. So i used what i believe is DCWC paper from a paper pad which my mom had picked up  and so generously shared with me....again thanks Mom!

Mojo 195

Well happy Monday everyone...even though it is almost over. I have to say i am a pretty happy girl to be actually getting this posted on Monday. Well this card started out with some wonderful paper that my ma bought me today from Micheal's....thanks ma : )
Well i really liked the sketch today as i found it really different from the usual and it was so easy to create.  So i used Basic greys patterned paper sultry/dressy so different then what i would usually purchase but i find i am really trying to step outside of  my box.

So i am hoping that i didnt over do it with the floral paper, i did not plan on using in the center but then it was a bit bare so i threw it in.  I created the flowers, the bird and the flag thing as well as the sparkley curl thing...which is hard to see in the picture...but it was not part of the bird. Any-hoo hope you all enjoy.

A little something for Hannah

Here is a little something i made for Hannah. It is her birthday this Friday and well i thought i would use this for her card rather then the old tradition birthday card, it folds up so nicely that it fit nicely in an envelope. It will be a little reminder of Aunty for her & she will be able to hang it on her bedroom door or in her room where ever she would like.

So i got the idea for this at Scrapbooks etc as they have started a craft it forward and i'm sad to say that i didn't make this donate it as i thought it was something the little girls would like. But maybe i could join in one month with one of there ideas.

Well just a quick post this morning. I had finished my Mojo yesterday but thought maybe i would disect it today but then decided i would just post it. I can't say i am totally thrilled with this card but however you can't always be happy every one.
I used paper from the K&Company paper pack Wild Saffron i seem to really like this paper as of late.

This paper was given to me by my mom so i am unsure of the designer for this paper.  I again created the flower and leaves for this card, which i am very happy with.
