Good afternoon/evening just a quick post today for Scrapbook Essentials BC challenge # 3. This week they gave us a color challenge.

Supplies: White and pink card stock, DP My Minds Eye- stella and Rose, Stamp sentiment from Verve, misc ribbon and pearls.

Happy Monday to everyone! Well it's another fabulous week over at Mojo Monday Teresa has given us a wonderful sketch to play with and to my surprise i was able to through this card together quickly this morning.

I have to say i was happy with the way this card turned out and i thought it would work great for one of the nieces birthday in the new year.

I do apologize that the picture is kind of on a weird angle.

Supplies: Cardstock that was purchased from Taylored Expressions so i am unsure of the exact color name, DP- My minds eye -lime twist- happy go lucky, Spellbinders- Lacey circles, Happy Birthday & Lets Celebrate from Stampin-Up stamp set- Family phrases, cuddle bug embossing folder D'vine swirls, and some misc ribbon.

Scrapbook Essentials #2

Again i have to apologize that this picture doesn't do much to show the colors....guess i need to invest in a light box.  I really liked the sketch over at Freshly made this week that i thought i would use there sketch to create this card.

Supplies: Bo Bunny-DP, Bazzil-Artesian pool & whipped mousse, lime green cardstock, stampin up stamps, misc brads and button, and i used Cuttlebug Spots and dots embossing folder.

Wow! Two post in one day...that's crazy for me. Well i was able to get one card done tonight....don't you hate when you get to the last piece of your card and it stumps you. Well i got all hung up on the sentiment piece and yet it i didn't even get what i wanted, however it's done.
Anyhow enough whinning from me : )

I do apologize the picture is not that great as it has kind of washed the colors out....but best i could do for an evening photo.

Supplies: Fancy pants-DP, the textured yellow paper-unsure, brown & red cardstock, sentinment- Verve stamp set "Kind words"

Good evening everyone! I just wanted to put up a quick post tonight before i dive in to try and get a couple more cards done tonight.
Today is Wednesday and so that means it is time for Freshly made, and well Cindy put up a wonderful sketch and i couldn't wait to play with the sketch. I didn't get exactly what i was hoping for but my hands got a little ahead of me on this one. Anyhow this was suppose to be quick : )

Mojo 218 & Freshly Made 14

Good morning! Well this is a quick post this morning to get a couple of the sketch challenges posted that i love to participate in. The first one i will post is Mojo being it always starts my week off.

Supplies: Random paper, snowflake cut on the cricut and the sentiment is from Verve stamp set "Winter mittens" and the oval frame is also a Verve stamp "vintage oval frame"

Secondly here is {Freshly made}

Supplies: Pink, brown and Aqua cardstock, Stella and Rose DP, Flower-Heartfelt creations - daisy stamps, sentiment is from a  Verve stamp set "Text object".

Good Morning everybody! Well this is a rare ocassion for me, but i have a card to post this morning that i created last night after getting my Freshly made done. I wanted to do a card that wasn't based on a sketch because i find for myself that i struggle to create if i don't have a sketch.....so i challenged myself.

So there is lot of bits and pieces here so here we go

Supplies: Red and an aqua like cardstock, Echo park DP, Tree cut out with Taylored Expression-trim a tree die, snowflake on the cricut, felt swirl-Queen &Co and Spellbinders-Lacey circle.

I hope to get to work on my Mojo later and i look forward to seeing everyone elses Mojo later.

Good evening! Again as always this is a quick post tonight to get my {Freshly made} up before i run out of time here.  I have to say that this picture doesn't show the color well.

I kept it super simple as i just wanted to get a card done before it closed tomorrow.

Supplies: DP-Sandylion, recollections snowflakes and Misc tinsel string.

Good afternoon! Just popping in real quick to get my Mojo posted before i have to cook my boys some dinner.  I didn't follow the sketch exact but i just though the card had enough so i didn't add the ribbon with the button.

 

Supplies: DP- Recollections, Ribbon is recollections, I traced the outside of my spellbinders- holiday tag to get my orament shape, added some Holly stickles to my sentiment, and some misc tinsel ribbon and button.

Well a quick post tonight to finally get my Mojo posted. I really wanted to do something outside the box with this sketch but unfortunelty it just wasn't going to work, so i kept true to the sketch.

Supplies: DP Echo park and Recollections, Making memories- holly, and Ranger-liquid pearls.

Freshly Made sketch 11

A quick post tonight to get my Freshly Made up this week, Linda put out a wonderful sketch for us this week. I have two nieces with birthdays next month so i thought i would take advantage of this sketch and make two cards.

I apologize that this picture doesn`t show this card well.

Supplies: Aqua, pink & brown cardstock, DP- Sassafras, Spellbinders- Nestabilities Labels 3, & Misc. stamp, button and Twine.

Supplies: Brown, pink green and white cardstock, DP- pebbles, Flowers stamped with  Heartfelt creations-Daisy patch flowers, and i had to hand write my own saying...unfortunetly.

Christmas cards

Just a quick post this morning! This was a Christmas card i had started a while back, set a side and finally got around to finishing it last night.

This second card is one i made quite some time ago as well and thought i would save it as a filler post...although i meant to post it some time ago as well.....better late then never i guess.

You probably noticed that there were both made using the exact same DP i have to say i do really like these papers and it will be to bad when they are all gone. I do apologize that i no longer have the name for the designer papers.

Well i am finally getting my Mojo done this afternoon. I have kinda had a creative block with the cards as i have been making up some boxes of craft stuff for the nieces, so instead of cards I have been making little embellishments, banners, stamped sentiment pieces and punching some scalloped paper so i have shifted my attention else where.
Anyhow i was able to get my Mojo layed out last night and my patient little boy has let me finish it off this afternoon.

So my back layer is from a "atd" paper pad I purchased at Walmart, I Stamped the flowers with "Hearlfelt creations" daisy patch flowers stamp set, Thanks sentiment is a Studio G stamp, and i used some misc pieces for the center of the flowers.

Just a quick post tonight!  It's another fabulous week over at Mojo Monday and a wonderful sketch it is! I am actually very happy with the results of this card, I kept it clean & simple.

Supplies: DP- Echo park "Season's Greeting", Red and Ivory cardtock, sentiment- Stampavie, snowflake cut out with my cricut and Misc button and some stickles on the snowflake.

{Freshly Made} #9

Well a quick post tonight before I run out of time and then next thing I know it will be time for another sketch over at {Freshly Made}. I have to say this card wasn't quite what I had in mind I started it a few nights ago walked away from it and well I just couldn't get what I had hoped for.  It's not a train wreck....I know there will be someone out there who will be happy to receive it.

Supplies: Red cardstock, DP-My Mind Eye, Thanks sentiment is SU, Lg butterly is Making memories, sm butterflies i cut out, Misc flowers and pearls.

I finally have a few minutes here to quickly get my Mojo posted.  Yesterday Mojo monday got another fabulous sketch up and i was able to play with the sketch last night as i watched my show.
It's funny the 2 days a week i chose to join in on a sketch challenge are the two evenings that i have shows on that i like to watch.  Good thing i can  multi task i guess!
Anyhow here is what i did for my Mojo this week.

Happy mid week! It's a another fabulous week over at {Freshly Made} again they have put up a wonderful sketch. I don't usually get time in the A.M to craft but today i was able to whip this one up real quick....i think i may have made my focal piece a bit to large but however it's all glued up so it is staying.

Suppiles: green and mother of pearl cardstock, the brown swirls DP is Bo Bunny and i don`t know who the red belongs to,  title sticker is crate paper and misc ribbon and pearls.

Happy Monday! It is another fabulous week over at Mojo Monday they put up a beautiful sketch for this week. I have to say i was really looking forward to working with this sketch tonight but for whatever reason i kept changing my mind while working with it.
However over all i am happy with my card but i don't feel i did the sketch any justice....so i will try again later this week to see if i can get what i was looking for.

Freshly Made sketch #7

Good Morning! Yesterday {Freshly made} put up a wonderful sketch and lets just say i had a lot if fun with it last night. So i started with one card last night but then the ideas where flowing and i have been wanting to make a card using snowflakes and so lets just say  i ended up with 3 cards last night. I like when the ideas are there and well i figure if you already have a mess why not run with it so i was able to do multiples.
Anyhow here is the wonderful sketch they put out this week.

I can't say these pictures really do these card any justice but with winter nearing there isn't much for some nice natural light.

Well it's Mojo time and let me tell you i was excited when i seen the sketch this morning and i was waiting all day to get "ME" time : )  I had my paper picked out and all of the little elements i was going to use.....they were just waiting all day for me to get my little fingers on them.
I had fun making this card i have been wanting to get into some Christmas cards for a few weeks now but just could not put anything out that i was super excited about, but i can say i was happy with the end result of this one.
