Mojo 226

Good day! Well i am back this week....got a little distracted last week so i was MIA. Mojo put out a nice easy clean sketch to play with this week. I decided to turn on some TV shows last night on the ol' computer and sit down and craft, so here is what i came up with.

As you can see i didn't pay attention to the sketch so instead of doing the top or bottom in a different paper i kept it all one piece......sure wish i would have payed closer attention because i do think i would have liked a different print on the bottom. However i am happy with the card and it will give me something else to try if i get time.

Supplies: Red and white cardstock, My mind's Eye- Blink of an Eye DP, Making memories butterfly, Verve stamps-Birthday phrases and Ranger liquid pearls.

Just playing around

Good morning! I hope everyone is having a great start to there week, althought I'm sure as I am posting this it would be to early to tell. Last night i had decided to plunk myself down in my craft room catch up on a show i missed last week and play with some scraps. I was able to create a card, almost two and some flower pieces.

All of the paper used were bits and pieces of My minds Eye from a few of the Stella and Rose collections, the cute sentiment on my card was a Verve stamp and i used up some misc buttons, pearls, paper flowers and ribbon.

Freshly made #18

Good morning! I can hardly believe it....I have been able to post for the last 3 days, amazing. Its another fabulous week over at Freshly made and Linda is our hostess this week with a great sketch. I have to admit my inspiration for this card came from Tui Nathan's card. Actually i have to say this week i absolutely loved every single one of the DT's card, they were all beautiful.

I wish I could have captured the warmth of the card.

Scrapbook Essential #6

Good Morning! Well I was able to  join in this week over at Scrapbook Essentials BC, this week they have put up a color challenge for us to play with. Well I am hoping that i got the colors close enough to what they were looking for. I decided to take the opportunity to make a masculine card, I never make masculine cards but however I think it worked out ok.

Supplies: Blue, brown, suede like, and olive like cardstock : ) Chatterbox DP, Tim holtz gears, and misc twine.

A quick post this morning, I was actually able to get my Mojo done last night but decided to wait until this morning capture a picture.

Freshly Made #17

Good morning! Well i wanted to get a quick post up this morning for Freshly made, Rita put up a great sketch this week. I will be honest i really don't like this card but i started, so i finished it, and i'm going to post it.

So i think what is was for me was the Purple....not that i don't like purple but i never use purple so i think it threw me off.

Supplies: Dark and a light purple cardstock, DP bits and pieces My minds Eye and Momenta, i used my Spellbinders- Impressabilities- pebbles to add some texture on my base, Stamp is from Verve, added some stickles to the flower to give it some sparkle, and a misc pearl.

Well a quick post this morning before i start my day. I was able to sit down last night and get creative before a show i like came on, so this is what i came up with this week.

Supplies: My first layer was a piece of cardstock purchased from Taylored Expressions so i am unsure of it's actual color name, DP- My mind's Eye- Stella and Rose collection, Sentiment is from the verve set-Circular sayings, Flower button from Crate paper, misc ribbon and pearl.

Another quick post for this evening....playing catch up. Here is my attempt at the Mojo sketch this week.

Supplies: I used up bits and pieces but i do believe that all of the DP is My minds eye- Stella and rose, brown cardstock, recollections pearls, I stamped the butterfly from Taylored Expressions- Whimsical wishes then cut it out, Sentiment is from the  Verves stamp set- Text objects.

Good Evening!  Well a quick post tonight to get my Freshly made posted......I am running behind with the sketch challenges that i like to do every week. However i was able to start a Freshly made last night and decided to finish it this afternoon.

Happy New year everyone! Just a really quick post tonight to get my Mojo up, I missed the link but thought I would get it up here before tomorrow.  This is my fourth attempt at this sketch for some reason i just could get anything to work, so i kinda just wanted to get something done....you could say i kinda gave up a little. Anyhoo quick right?

Supplies: DP- My minds eye- Lime twist, Pink, aqua, brown cardstock, stamped sentiment is SU and flowers were stamped using Heartfelt creations- Daisy patch, I used an EK and Fiskar punch for the edges, and some misc pearls.
